Surprise Upset in Women's College Basketball

The underdog University of Maine Black Bears (23-7) defied expectations with a dominant 64-48 victory over the heavily favored Vermont Catamounts (28-3). This win secures Maine's first trip to the NCAA tournament since 2019.
