Roshan's conference call, GM Quader sat down with Peter Haas

GM Quader went to the US Embassy in Baridhara on Wednesday (March 6) around 3 pm. He came out of the embassy again at 4 pm.

Masroor Mawla, Special Envoy and Adviser of Jatiya Party Chairman was also present at this time.

 

The National Party is divided into two factions due to internal conflicts. On one side is Jatiya Party founder chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad's brother GM Quader. Those who sit in the parliament as an opposition party. In another part, Hussain Muhammad Ershad's wife and former leader of the opposition in Parliament, Roshan Ershad. In the meantime, Roshan has called the national party conference.

  

In this situation, GM Quader met Peter Haas for the first time after the 12th national election. However, he did not speak to reporters about the meeting.

 

Before this, US Ambassador Peter D Haas met with the chairman of Jatiya Party on November 13 last year amid the diplomatic scramble for the Bangladesh elections. An hour-long meeting was held between the two at that time as well.
