Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasad) President Hasanul Haque Inu has severely criticized Industry Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun for suggesting plums in Iftar instead of grapes and apples. He said, 'Poor people will eat plums. And you eat grapes and dates, it won't happen, it won't happen.'

He made this comment in the speech of the chief guest at Rajshahi Divisional National Youth Rally on Monday afternoon. The rally was organized at Batter Mor in the city.

Hasanul Haque said, "A while ago, I saw a minister saying on the mobile that he does not eat dates and grapes during fasting." Made with plums. What will Allah say? Today people are plagued in the market of daily commodities. 

You are joking with people. Hon'ble Prime Minister, kick such a minister out now. How brave With plums... Wake up young people. Drop the sack of plums at the minister's house. I will break my fast with plums, and you will eat dates and grapes. If you have courage, ban the import of dates and grapes.

It is to be noted that Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said in response to journalists' questions at the Deputy Commissioner's conference in the capital's Osmani Auditorium on Monday, "Why don't you eat plums for Iftar?" Why do you need grapes, why do you need apples? There is nothing else in our country? Don't give guava, arrange the plate like that.'

After the severe criticism of the minister, Hasanul Haque smiled and said to the crowd, "You are angry because of grief, you don't understand." Then again you can remember that Inu sub is losing in the vote, he is angry about it. No brother, when I was a minister, I spoke like this in the Council of Ministers by raising my finger. 

I have said the situation in the Parliament when I was a Member of Parliament. No anger matters. If you cannot give relief to the people in the midst of political uncertainty, keep them in trouble, if they are disappointed, BNP-Jamaat will take that opportunity. They survive on that opportunity.'

Hasanul Haque said, "I have done a lot of research and found that the three-headed monster is the master of corruption." Dishonest businessmen, dishonorable bureaucrats and dishonorable politicians—the three-headed monster syndicated by these three circles. If you want to stop the corruption, crush the three heads of the monster. If you can crush your head, corruption stops, the market is cold.

Stating that the life of the low-income, lower-middle class has not come to relief after the parliamentary elections, Hasanul Haque further said, 'The pain of their stomach burning is increasing. Oil, salt, onion, sugar, ginger-garlic, pepper—whatever you touch, your hands are burning. 

One price in the morning, another price in the afternoon. This is not economics. There has been no relief in the lives of these poor, middle-class people.

Hasanul Haque said, "The Prime Minister is taking a stand against the corrupt." Ministers are shouting against the syndicate. 

But the price is not decreasing, it is increasing. So who failed? Administration failed. Why are they not listening? Is it the fault of the system, or the fault of the free market economy? 

Or those who are increasing the prices, they live in the shadow of the government, due to which it is not possible to catch them. The price did not decrease even after the Prime Minister said. Unusual thing! So much strength, so much courage, how is it possible?'

Claiming that he can stop extortion in transportation of goods within two hours, Hasanul Haque said, "If a truck from North Bengal reaches Dhaka, there is extortion at 14 places. I have calculated, six thousand rupees. It falls on everyone. It takes two hours to close the subscription of Rs.6,000. Give me power, I will stop extortion within two hours.'
