Houthi missile attack on cargo ship, 2 killed

Iran-backed Houthi rebels have launched a missile attack on a cargo ship south of Yemen. At least two crew members were killed. US officials have confirmed this information. BBC news.

The Barbados-flagged ship 'True Confidence' was abandoned and on fire. The ship was attacked in the Gulf of Aden.

According to the Houthis, these attacks are in support of the Palestinians in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

In a statement, Houthi said the ship's crew ignored warnings.

Meanwhile, the British Embassy in Yemen said that the death of the sailors is sad, but the response to Houthi attacks on international ships is inevitable.
