US mourns Bailey Road fire

The US Embassy in Dhaka has expressed grief over the fire incident at Green Cozy Cottage on Bailey Road in the capital. On Sunday (March 3), the message was expressed through a post on the verified Facebook page of the embassy.

The US Embassy's Facebook post said, 'Deep condolences to the families of the victims and the injured in the tragic fire on Bailey Road. We remember everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident.

It should be noted that a fire broke out in the multi-storied building on Bailey Road in the capital last Thursday (February 29) around 10:15. So far 46 people have died in this incident. Besides, the condition of 3 people under treatment in the hospital is critical.

Apart from Kachchi Bhai restaurant, the building had outlets of various establishments.
