The first temple built in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates has been opened to the public. Ever since it was opened on Friday (March 1), the temple premises have been bustling with pilgrims and ordinary visitors. 65 thousand visitors flocked to see the temple on Sunday (March 3).

According to the Middle East media Gulf News, Times of India reported that about 40 thousand people came there on Sunday morning to see the temple. Another 25,000 people came in the afternoon. Some come to the temple to pray and some come to admire the unique craftsmanship of the temple. The temple authorities said in a notification that the entire area became crowded with the arrival of 65,000 visitors.

Sunday is a weekend holiday in the United Arab Emirates. Compared to other days, therefore, the temple is flooded with visitors. The UAE government has also set separate routes for temple visits.

It should be noted that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this temple on February 14. The original craftsmanship of the temple is similar to that of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
